Moral Education - Remote Learning Plan -Grade 1 Week - 6

Lesson: I am Good

I just want to make you happy. Because you’re the reason that I’m so happy.

“Being happy doesn’t mean that everything is perfect. It means you’ve decided to look beyond the imperfections.”
Enjoying the present moment is a habit that takes practice.
If you always look toward tomorrow for happiness, odds are you will do the same when you attain what you’ve been dreaming of. As strange it sounds, the ability to appreciate what’s in front of you has nothing to do with what you actually have. It’s more about how you measure the good things in your life at any given time.

Finding reasons to be happy now can benefit your future. While positive emotion tends to broaden thought, negative emotion tends to narrow it and hold back development. Tuning into joy can improve your health, something that affords you many possibilities in life. Choose to be happy now and you’ll have more days of good health to enjoy. Every day is a new opportunity to be better than yesterday; that pursuit can increase your self-esteem and, accordingly, your happiness.

Express your heart

Nearly all psychologists agree that talking to people can have a huge impact on our mood. It depends on what you talk about.
Practice acts of kindness
This is one of the biggest secrets to finding happiness. Small acts of kindness can do wonders.
Keep moving
Regular exercise has a powerful impact on mood.
Find your flow
Can you think of a creative activity that is challenging but that you love doing? Many kinds of activities, such as sports, playing an instrument, or writing, can produce the joyful experience of Flow. Like exercise, finding happiness through flow takes a little work. You need to cultivate your skills, step by step.

The key is to find the approach that fits us. When we do, then the more we give, the more we stand to gain purpose, meaning and happiness—all of the things that we look for in life but are so hard to find.
