Grade 2

  Lesson 1- Healthy Eating , Healthy Body



LEARNING OBJECTIVE– To plan a healthy meal and understand the importance of healthy eating.


ACTIVITY – Given below is a table of 5 food groups. You have to plan a balanced meal by choosing any 2 of your favorite foods from each food group. Draw, colour and label the foods in the given plate. You can do this activity on a paper plate if you have it at home or on an A4 size paper.



                                          

The 5 food groups are: 

Vegetables
Fruits
Grains
Proteins
Dairy
peas, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, onion, carrot, radish, potato, cucumber, leaves etc
apple, banana, berries, grapes, dates, guava, mango, melon, orange, peach etc

rice, wheat, oats, barley, maize, cereals etc
eggs, meat, beans, seeds, nuts etc
milk, butter, cheese, yogurt etc

Grade 3

  Lesson 1- Taking Responsibility for My Actions.  

Learning objectives: To be able to know that what it means to take responsibility for their own behavior and identify when and how their behavior may upset others.

 It’s not nice when someone …

  • Hides your things. 
  • Writes things about you on the board.
  •  Ignores you.
  •  Pushes you. 
  • Calls you names.
Has anyone ever done these things to you? How did that make you feel?
Use whiteboards to describe your feelings.
